Katie graduated with her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2016, then pursued a range of holistic therapies to bridge her deep understanding of human physiology with practical approaches to health and well-being. As a 500-hour certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist, she brings both biomechanics expertise and mind-body wisdom to her work. Her approach encourages embodiment— creating conscious connection to one’s whole body— while supporting holistic healing with functional movement and mind-body therapy. Whether working with someone recovering from injury or deepening their physical practice, Katie draws on her engineering background to understand the mechanics while honoring the whole person. As an ultrarunner and avid outdoor athlete, Katie knows firsthand what it means to push through challenges while listening to your body, making smart decisions that support your overall well-being: mind, body, and spirit. This perspective shapes how she guides others on their healing journeys.
